The Elbe Philharmonic in Hamburg
Philharmonic Elbphilharmonie was built nine years, for which the architectural bureau Herzog & de Meuron spent more than $ 1 billion to implement an ambitious project. The building consists of two parts: a glass crown and a brick foundation, which used to be an abandoned warehouse.
In the 26-storey skyscraper there are three concert halls, a 5-star hotel, 45 apartments and an impressive viewing platform overlooking the Speicherstadt district.
The official opening of the Elbe Philharmonic will take place on January 11, 2017. Of course, tickets for the first concert have already been sold out, as well as for other events, for six months in advance, but for those who want to be among the first to look at an expensive project, an online excursion with flying drones is created on the official site of the philharmonic society. Pleasure is free and extremely spectacular.
